The PTERYGO implant is an alternative to avoid sinus-lifting or other grafting procedures to treat maxillary posterior region. It is a moderately tapered Internal Hexagonal connection (IHC) implant and is available in a wide range of implant diameters & lengths.

- Computer-guided & Non-guided protocols:
Start the osteotomy using Pterygoid drill Ø 2.0 mm at the same implant length to be inserted.
Complete the osteotomy with Pterygoid drill Ø 2.8 mm at the entrance for 6.0 mm.
Placement positioning of the implant
- Non-guided protocol:
Start the osteotomy using Pterygoid drill Ø 2.0 mm at the same implant length to be inserted.
Continue using Pterygoid drill Ø 2.4 mm at the same implant length to be inserted.
*Complete the osteotomy with Pterygoid drill Ø 2.8 mm at the entrance for 6mm.
- Non-guided protocol:
Start the osteotomy using Pterygoid drill Ø 2.0 mm at the same implant length to be inserted.
Continue using Pterygoid drill Ø 2.4 mm at the same implant length to be inserted.
*Complete the osteotomy with Pterygoid drill Ø 3.2 mm at the entrance for 6mm.
